A great and mystical tome of the Hyborian Age. The great Cataclysm
is chronicled along with ancient sorcerous knowledge, prophecies,
and tales of unseen planes of existence. It is said that the book
was written by a Valusian seer named Vathelos, describing the Black
Seers of Yimsha, rituals of the Heart of Ahriman, even the powers
of the Hand of Nergal.
Perhaps the most powerful talisman ever handed down from
the snake cult. In the form of a coiled snake, it is gold crusted,
and covered with faceted diamonds. The coils of the snake form a
cone shaped crown as the head of the snake looks down over the forehead
of the wearer, poised as if to strike.
A massive cooper ring in the shape of a serpent, it is said that
it can control demons from the black gulfs of beyond. Very little
is known of this ring belonging to Toth-Amon.
The ancient weapon of the Taians of Stygia was given to their first
warrior hero, Varanghi from Mitra. Any warrior that wields the axe
is said to be undefeatable as long as the warrior remains true in
the eyes of Mitra. The Axe is also a symbol of Taian unity, and
dates back to their first arrival somewhere south of the Styx, at
the head of the Hyborian migration.
Jet black beads worn in dancing costumes of the temples virgins
of the spider god Zath in Yezud. The temple virgins are tested before
Zath each time they wear the dance costumes, a loss of virginity
denotes treason to the spider god.
Thought to have come from Khorala, in Vendhya, the gems puts any
man under the control of it's wearer.
Legend says that the talisman fell from the sky before the great
cataclysm. Many men have turned their heads to the promise of unlimited
power, only to receive it's sole promise of death beyond despair.
In the shape of a clawed hand and made from ivory, it is covered
in ancient writing, unknown to most. A dim crystal rests in the
palm of the Hand of Nergal. The sphere is said to be inhabited by
a demon from the black gulfs, banished to wander space for all eternity.
An ancient skull said to be the last remains of an ancient and evil
wizard that hypnotizes any who look at it's face.
Large, crystalline and intricately faceted, the Heart of Ahriman
glows from within. It's complete powers are not known. It was used
to bring the mighty Xaltotun 3000 years back from the dead.
Khemsa's Girdle was made of the woven thick black
tresses of a woman. Set in the thick mesh were tiny jewels. The buckle was strangely made, in the
form of a golden serpent head, flat, wedge-shaped and scaled with
curious art.

The Lotus vines are perhaps the single most source for drugs and
poisons in Hyboria. Grown as a vine, the lotus is found in most
of the tropical and jungle swamps of Hyboria. The Purple Lotus Swamp
of Stygia and the southern jungles of Khitai are perhaps the most
famous of locations for the deadly vine. There are several differently
colored species of the lotus, each usually having a different effect
on it's user, or victim. It can be eaten, inhaled, or cooked. Pollen
from the lotus can be collected.
