Inspired by the Hyborian legends as originally written Conan's creator, Robert E. Howard, this line of figures represents several characters from the classic novel 'The Hour of the Dragon.' Aquilonia is the most noble and civilized nation in the Hyborian realm. Its King, Conan, lacks even a drop of royal or noble blood, but the common people of Aquilonia are fiercely loyal to him. He sits upon his imperial throne clad in fine clothes made of silk and velvet with the royal lions of Aquilonia worked in gold upon his rich garb. Conan's eyes smolder a volcanic blue that can't conceal a deep reserve of inner fire. His dark, scarred face is that of a man who has been fighting all his life. Underneath all the pomp and circumstance of the Aquilonian Court is a man who was born the son of a blacksmith, a barbarian from the savage northern land of Cimmeria. Conan - who was once a thief, a pirate, a raider and a mercenary - is now a King. The 'King Conan Of Aquilonia' figure sits on his throne, which altogether measures approximately 9 inches tall, and it comes with his two horned, battle helmet.

The evil wizard Xaltotun uses dark sorcery to defeat King Conan. Conan is taken prisoner in the dungeons of the castle of the King of Nemedia. With the help of the beautiful harem girl Zenobia, Conan escapes and begins a long quest to regain the Aqullonian throne. The commander of the renowned Black Dragons, Pallantides is one of King Conan's most loyal and trusted generals. The ranks of the Black Dragons are recruited from the most fearless knights in the Aquilonian realm. These men are the most elite troops in King Conan's many legions and have taken a sworn oath to defend their King with their own lives.In the chaos and civil war that ensues upon the King's apparent death, Pallantides, along with other soldiers and nobles loyal to the memory of Conan's cause, organizes a resistance movement against the forces loyal to Xaltotun. With the help of Zenobia the slave girl, Conan attempts to escape from the dungeons of the King of Nemedia but not before he battles the Haunter of the Pits. Conan is cornered and attacked by a great hulking monster of enormous size and strength. He quickly recognizes that the grisly ogre is a man-eating ape from the mountain forests near the Sea of Vilayet. These killer apes were the most feared beasts of the Hyborian age. This 6 figure interacts with Conan the Warrior (sold seperately) to create a battle scene.

Series 2 Hour of the Dragon - Xaltotun the Undead

A cabal of royal conspirators hatches a plot to overthrow King Conan. Using arcane arts, they bring back to life a long-dead High Priest of Set. The evil Xaltotun lives once more after laying mummified in his hieroglyph-covered jade sarcophagus for 3,000 years.Too late, the conspirators realize they have opened the gates to the realms of darkness when they bring this tyrant back to life. He quickly overpowers them and hatches his own dark plots. Using sorcery, he overpowers Conan and strips him of his throne. This 6 detailed figure portrays Xaltotun in his armour with his spear.
